Lunch and Gathering Right After Service
Please save the date! (We had hoped to do this in October, but the scheduling did not work out, so we’ve postponed until after the Church Fair and the holidays).
With the Leadership Team’s support, Reverend Jim, a small “Crucial Conversations Task Force,” and Sandy Dickson, our outside facilitator, have been working to prepare for an all-church discussion and sharing session. We will be welcoming a new pastor sometime in the near future and we intend to do all we can to ensure their success.
With that in mind, we planned this gathering to help our congregation grow closer so we can move forward together in love and understanding. The discussion and sharing session is designed to promote effective, transparent communication and will focus on processing recent changes in our church, gaining common understanding and clarity, strengthening our faith and trust in each other, and confirming our intentions to learn and grow together.
We look forward to working with Sandy, and to sharing food and conversation with all of you as we prepare for a bright future at First Church. Please join us!
