Scripture Reading: Acts 10:1-16, 34-48
We’ll hear the story of Peter and the Roman Gentile named Cornelius. It’s the story of an unlikely and historic meeting in which God makes it clear that he’s doing a new thing. Peter’s deeply ingrained convictions about what is clean and what is unclean are upended, and the Church is set straight on the revelation that God has people in nations other than Israel.
